Use a super absorbant hair towel (Aquis or The Body Shop). Then spray a leave in conditioner. Use a wide toothed comb and start from the bottom to comb out tangles.
When blow drying, use a diffuser if you want to preserve the curl. Form soft ringlets w/ your fingers and avoid using a brush.

When you get out of the shower go ahead and comb it out. Then use this stuff called Beyond the Zone Noodle Head , its in a orange squeeze bottle. Apply to your hair and while drying it scrunch it and it will maintain the curls. It works wonders.

By combing it, you will take out the waves, of course.
I suggest gently detangling while still wet, using a squirt of hair gel, and allowing it to air dry, or use an attachment on your hair dryer to gently dry it while not blowing out the curls that you want. I know how you feel about those gorgeous curls! I learned this after having a curly perm, and finally figured it out.. so I'm sharing with you.
Good luck, curlylocks!

What I truly were doing the most suitable week which has labored truly properly is - when I bathe, i rub with a towel to get of added water. I artwork a medium/sturdy carry gel into my UNBRUSHED hair. Hairpsray throughout. Braid hair into 4 braids (2 in accordance to area) let it stay like that for perhaps 40 5 minutes Take braids out - nevertheless moist, extra haispray throughout. And it drys with a tender wave which I truly were getting compliments on

you can use a curling iron. or like after combing take some leave in conditioner or mousse or something like that and see if it works if you run your fingers down it. or i fuess if you have time, re-style with the stuff i listed i guess after combing like wrap strands around fingers
