I am not likely to find out that I have a deadly disease, because I don't want to know. If I have a deadly disease, I will just live or die and never be the wiser. If someone does manage to convince me that I do have a deadly disease I will try to laugh myself better or some other new age cure that I use.
Peace!

Do you mean like cardiac disease? First I sought medical treatment. Then I realized I may die on the operating table or from the blockage. Then I realized I WAS going to die. I mean you can know you will die...someday. But I realize now I am dying. Every day I come one day closer. So regardless of what you believe or don't believe, you take a closer look at how you approach the end of this life.

I would throw it on the lap of He who has nothing impossible with Him......then go on living, for I am sure He will take care of the deadly disease...

The same things I do now, obey the commandments as best I can and wait for the Lord to take me home. I will die, the question is only...How long from now?...Finding out I would die in 6 months would be more of a blessing to me than a curse.....I finally get to go home, leave the pain and injustice of this present world, and worship in the awesome presence of my sovereign Lord.
Financially, my family will be provided for..the Lord will see to it, and I've always tried to insure it; but, rely on Christ to fulfill it, not the insurance companies.

I would find out all I could about it, try not to infect anyone else (if it's communicable), and get my affairs in order so that my family would not have to deal with the more tedious details of the funeral etc... I would make sure I told all my friends and family how much I loved them. Then I'd try to enjoy what time I had left by living life to the fullest.

Excellent question. Brings to mind the country song "Live Like You Were Dying".
I am a Christian, and I have to admit, I don't like the answer that I came up with. I'm going to have to do some work on myself and my relationship with God.
Thanks for posting this. Go with God.

Sell everything. Move into an easy little place to manage and just whittle my time away doing what I love and spending time with who I love until the big bell rings.
