In God's eyes is killing in a video game still murder, since the intent is still there, even though you're not hurting anyone in real life?

For me it would be as God has taught me not to waste my time with vain imaginings. That would hold true for many things...including spending time on the internet where it served no purpose.

Probably no, because killing =extinguising a living thing. Unless someone is showing that there was desire to perform that act in a real world, then its probably a sin.

Besides sending Bowser into the pit of lava is as similar as to God torturing someone for ETERNITY in hell.

Is such a game a negative state of mind & emotion, or a positive? What good does it do? It helps and is an aid to whom? Let's play something like baseball, football, basketball, hockey, pool, chess, card games,....and leave the other stuff alone.

I think it's sinning but it's not as if you have intent to kill people. But if you think about it, would you really want Jesus sitting next to you while you were playing one of those games where you shoot civillians?
