Okay, so for a second here you're God and all. On Earth, there's quite a number of good atheists. They always donate their money to charity, do good to others, yada yada yada, and yet they don't believe in You.

So one day, they died and met You. They would like admission to Heaven although while they were living they did not believe in You, in Heaven, in the Afterlife, and even asked others to do the same.

But still they were good people when they lived.

So if you were God in this situation, would you let them in? (based on their deeds), or would you deny them? (well I didn't doubt *YOUR* existence.)

OK- pretending like I'm God I would totally let them in! The reason why is because I could never judge a persons belief in me (God- right?). If they got to see me after they died and everything I could show them I was real and that would probably scare the **** out of them!

I don't know what I would do...so it's a good thing I'm not God.

But, on the other hand, say you worked long and hard creating a population of legos. The lego people lived in peace and had everything going for them because you made it so. But then they screwed that up. So, to save them from themselves, you sent a son who basically was a part of you to die for them. They mocked him and flogged him then killed them all for the other lego people. But then they denied you existed at all. Wouldn't you be just a little angry?

The final one's incorrect. He sent bears on the muse of Elisha's phrases, yet not because of the fact they have been mocking Elisha, yet because of the fact they have been mocking God's act of taking Elijah into heaven. He would not have sent bears till Elisha had declared judgment (or till He wanted to, it is unlikely, because God would not care approximately phrases atm... yet interior the day of judgment, all phrases would be accounted for).

I'd ask "Well do you believe in me now?"
And if they were a smart-*** about it I'd conjure up a boxing ring and smite them! Then I'd ask them "How about now?"
If they agreed then i would pat them on the back and say "Great!!! Come inside, tonight's BBQ night!"
But if they still didn't believe in me (who wouldn't by then?!) then i would send them to hell shaking my head
But if they believed all along then I'd just say "Hello Paul, I'm God, pleased to meet you, good work on helping that old man cross the street that one time, as a special reward for believing in me the whole time you can chose dinner next Wednesday!"

If I really am as benevolent as I am supposed to be, then I will let them in.

The key here is that God forgives all who are willing to repent, no matter what they have done, and that includes not having believed in Him.

Besides, they were good people. If He were to send them to hell, he'd have to send every non-christian to hell too..... and that's a loooot of good people getting sent downstairs for no good reason.

My two cents.

If I was God then I would have to be just. There is a punishment for sin and that is eternal separation from God. If the athiest never accepted the just payment for their sins (Jesus blood on the cross) then I would not let them in.

If it were up to me and I wasn't God, then I would let them in ONLY if they had an eternal supply of Pepsi and Duncan Hines Brownies with walnuts :)

If I were God, mankind would have disappeared from the face of the earth a long time ago. Praise be to God that I am not...nor can I speak for him.

I wouldn't admit anyone based on belief alone. I would admit based solely on deeds and what was in your heart, and quite frankly I would think you were a little off if you didn't doubt my existence, at least a little.

Hypothetical question for which "I don't want to go there." I'm happy to let God be the God of the universe and me to work on being a more obedient, humble servant (lots of room for improvement).

I think of us "down here" like a bunch of scurrying ants, in comparison to the power and wisdom of God. He created us, and it is a wonder He loves any of us, and lets any of us into His heaven.

Oh you're in for it now. Christians cannot deal with hypotheticals!

They'll be forced here to say what Jehova would say. "The atheists are stained with sin and refused to accept me in life, therefore they have chosen to go to Hell."

Of course, that's just silly, isn't it? A truly good God wouldn't demand worship.
