I've heard that you can't control your soul because God has them all. So what about the people that have broken oaths on them or sworn them to the devil?

No, god doesn't own our souls and bodies.We can control our soul.Everyone will be punished because of their manner of the past.If you ruin a man's life, your manner what you did will follow you.Even though you didn't punish in the present tense,you will be punished in the future.It is what we meant fortune.

Yep, God owns that part of us...broken oaths are between humans and the devil doesn't count...God's gonna take care of him...he's the biggest loser of all time.
