Ok, so ever since I decided to leave the Catholic Church and start down on my own path, I've been meditating out in the woods by a small river, and during my meditations, I've been talking to Divinity (or God as some of you would call it) and I wrote it down in a journal and then typed it up. Looking back at what I have written, I wonder which Nature base religion is right for me. For those who wants to see the notes, here they are.

I think you're ready for Gaia, which posits that the Earth itself is alive and regulates itself to meet its needs.

This is consistent with a 'yeast starter' theological perspective.

May I suggest you read the Tao te-Ching? You can find it on the net, or in a book store. It is a poetic work of Taoism, a beautiful Chinese natural religion centered around meditation. I currently practice Taoist Qigong, which is a meditation working with energy from within the body and without, balancing energy channels and raising energy. I find it very effective. Otherwise, look into some shamanistic traditions for natural based beliefs.

You would be looking for some time of pagan religion. I practice the pagan relion of Wicca. Pagan was derived from the latin word pagania (of the earth). The word heathern refers to the people who lived in tune with the land and how farming was dependant on how the earth and the land move together in harmony. They were basically the people of the Heath.

Could be Wiccan, Naturalism, or eastern native american religions. If you decide to become a naturalist, you may want to move to a nudist county!

Druid, my friend's hubby is. They are attracted to water. Ask yourself this, is the river spring fed? Spring fed waters tend to draw people from Druid religions.
