On a few stations (both HD and standard), I get a row of blocks that appear suddenly, then disappear just as quickly. This seems to happen when scenes start changing quickly, especially movie previews. This also happens on some stations only...I've never seen it happen on HDHBO, HD Discovery Theater, and ESPN HD (thank God).

Any HD guru out there have an explanation of this?
Thanks!

This is a cable problem. When you have errors in digital transmission you see these flying "macroblocks". If it is happening a lot, there is too much noise in your transmission.

It usually means the signal is weak. If you have any cable splitter, you may want to think about replacing them or have your cable company come out and check it.
