I can't stop thinking about this guy, and it's the typical feeling of liking someone A LOT. But the thing is; he's my teacher. It's so wrong, and I hate thinking about him like that, but I can't help it. I've tried not talking about him or to him; but that just makes me think about NOT talking to him which makes me worse. He's the person I usually go to for advice but, I can't really do that this time now can I? I don't want to hear the usual things I do about how it's illegal and how liking teachers is just a little crush or phase, but it's been 6 months almost. I'm tired of it. I neeeeeeeed to get over him! It doesn't help when I'm pretty much his favorite student and we talk a lot too. Does anyone know how I can get over him or at least a little bit? By the way, I told my best friend. And her advice didn't work.

I want a REAL answer. We aren't in a relationship so he's not going to jail... I just want to get this "crush" thing over with. It's not something I can just quit like that.

It's hard, I know... Just feel what you feel but definitely don't take any action that could permanently damage your teacher's career and reputation. If you really like this teacher wait until after graduation to say anything. Lots of girls like their teacher so it's normal what you are feeling. I did the same thing and the teacher was a great guy. He gave me the best advice on dealing with high school life, I was the president of a student club/he was our teacher-sponsor so we spent a lot of time together, he gave me the praise I needed to hear, and yet even though I felt like he might feel something as well, I was mature enough to know that the teacher-student relationship had to be a professional one or the consequences could have been bad.

As weird as this may sound. I would say the only way to get over it is to confront it and that means admitting this to the teacher you said is your advice giver and mentor. I wish there was a easy way out of this for you hon but there is not unfortunately :(. I wish there was because this is a predicament no1 should be in. At least your trying to fix it by admitting you have this longing to others. That's a good start. I'm so so sorry i can't be of more help but I would like you to know I'm wishing you the best of luck and i hope whatever you do works out for you. HUGS 4 support

I'm not sure there is a way to pop a crush quickly. There has to be something about this guy that you don't like, try to really focus on these aspects, make him a real person instead of a fantasy.

Other than that, just try to distance yourself from him and ride it out.

Good luck.

Bring yourself to realize that this is a fantasy. AND, think what kind of mess there would be if he responded. EEEEGAD!!! Why would you want to put yourself and him through a living hell???
Try fantasizing about the nightmare if you got together. That should be enough to turn anyone off.

Whatever you do dont admit it to your teacher!!!!! It would be very awkward and embarassing for the both of you, especially because you both see each other everyday at school!!! Get yourself a bf and sooner or later your bf will be teh one occupying your mind. Good luck.

Transfer to a different class. Unless your 18, then go after him.
