Hi blue. I just want you to know that I, in fact do feel a connection to you, albeit here in cyber-space...but more than through electrical currents...through your compassion for helping people. You've helped me not feel so alone...last night, and tonight. Though I haven't actually had the privilege of knowing you outside of this site, I feel, or can sense that you are a wise and gifted human being. To me, compassion is one of the greatest gifts you can give to another, and yourself. I'm sorry that you're feeling so stressed right now. If you care to share a bit more of your story, please do email me and vent away :) I'm probably headed off to bed now, as I have to be up pretty early in the morning, but I'd be honored to receive your message. Your beauty and strenth are needed a great deal in this world.
Much gratitude to you for being there for me, and many others!
-k

I think your question lacks the essential details. Every one feels stressed sometime or other. When do you feel stressed. Is it without any reason? what do you mean by telling " I talk to ppl a lot but there is no connection". Does it mean that you talk to people unrelated things? or does it mean that you are talking to people whom you do not know.
Unless you write more details of the problem, it will be difficult for any one to answer correctly - especially questions on stress etc which are in general complex in nature.

what you need to do is to stop and take a breather. do something that will take your mind off the stess for right now. maybe take a long hot bath or watch a funny movie or show and relax. take yourself to a happy place and see if any of this helps. if you are having no connection with your friends with what is bothering you then talk to a therapist and see what they say and see if they can help you out. or you can try writing down what is bothering you and look it over and that way you can maybe get a good look at it and then you can see what you have been needing to figure out. hope this helps

The first step is to realize what type of connection you are hoping for, then seek out that person. If you want to connect on a professional level, seek professional help. You just want someone who will listen, then talk to a friend who is a great listener.
In the end, it's all up to you to make decisions and the necessary changes in your life.
Good luck!!

I think your question, "can someone help me sort things out?", tells us something. It says you are mixed up about some things, want to talk to someone about what is going on in your life, and want them to help explain to you what is really going on.
That is part of the job of a counselor. I would start with your school counselor if you still go to school. If you need more than this, your school counselor can refer you to someone else.
It also would help you to see a doctor to see if you are clinically depressed. If you have Depression, you may need some medication. Feeling confused and disconnected can be symptoms of Depression.

Well if there is no connection , it sounds like you are having problems connecting to people, so you just may need to get a therapist and find out why if you can not do this yourself.`

Well, it sounds to me like you need to talk to people who understand and have experienced the kinds of feelings that you are having. Perhaps sitting in on a group therapy session would help. It's a good way to find people who are very likely to relate to your feelings, which in turn will help you to sort them out.

the only way for u to feel connected with people is for there to actually be an honest connection. to have a REAL trusting one u cant have any secrets, they keep us on our toes. your life should b an open book for the most part. your room, work, accomplishments, failures, past, dreams, etc.if you slowly evolve into that, you wont b so stressed cuz u wont have anything to hide. :)
