I try everything. I've left soap on the area for a long time while I take a bath, I scrub like crazy, I even put alcohol wipes, and baby powder but no matter what and how much I take a bath it's always there by the end of the day

Hi ZIZI, Boy do I understand your problem. Hope my experience will help. Some body odor is triggered by food, alcoholic beverages, medicines, etc. Check these off before anything else. Other times your sweat glands react to types of fabric or fabric dye. You may even be irritating the sweat glands with your efforts to stop the odor. If you are on a diet of any kind you might be causing an imbalance.
I would recommend only one deodorant IF you can find it. I buy mine at Walgreen's and I have used it for 40 years. I did some modeling in my youth and the older gals told me about it. It is called "5Day Deodorant Pads. It is expensive compared to most but it really works; no odor, no stains and no irritation. You get cotton pads in a jar of clear liquid. Red and white jar, usually on the bottom self.
Find a mild soap (I like plain white Dove) use an unscented body powder, hard to find but it's out there, and try to wear plain white cotton when you can. Maybe sleep in a cotton tee. Get rid of the alcohol and use Witch Hazel as a splash. Works on your face to tighten pores also.
If nothing works, see your doctor. Some odors are medically related and you need an expert to handle them.
Good luck.

It sounds like you might have excessive sweating which a dr. has to treat. But in the meantime use corn starch instead of baby powder. It's more absorbent & odor neutralizing. Then make sure it's an antiperspirant you're using, not a deodorant. A deodorant only masks the smell. An antiperspirant helps to cut down on the sweating. If your feet smell really bad at the end of the day use the cornstarch & antiperspirant on your feet after a bath and/or before wearing shoes.
Also after a bath, shower if you can. When you clean you're getting rid of dead skin cells & dirt. Thus the water you're using to rinse is dirty. That's why I always shower after bathing. I also carry a small or trial version of the antiperspirant to use during the day if I feel like I'm starting to smell. Or those wipes they have now. Alcohol dries so your body's response it to produce more sweat to keep the skin hydrated
Also wear tops that breathe like cotton or cotton blends. Spandex & polyester make you sweat.
It also can be the foods you eat. If you eat alot of spicy or garlicky foods it's not uncommon to sweat the odor out.
But then again there are medical conditions that can cause it so if nothing else works, see a dr.

I bet that can be embarrassing. There is really no way around it, if you take baths or showers and then put on deodorant then you would not smell. You may even want to take a few toiletries along in your purse. Your period odor is bad because you are not bathing. Even if you just carry around wipes to clean yourself a little that will help, but you still need to bathe so that you dont have those problems. Even a birdie bath in the sink is better than nothing at all.....

A few days ago i saw a commercial for a new secret deodorant. You should try that. Personally i use soft&dri. It works the best for me. Also there are special anti-persperint creams that you could carry in your bag to apply every couple of hours or so.

Secret has a new over the counter prescription strength deodorant. I just saw the commercial on tv yesterday. Maybe that will help.

It's called 'Secret Clinical Strength'.

You could try eating lots of fruits like oranges, lemons, and grapefruit and drinking 4 to 6 ounces of water every two hours.

Salads with vinegar dressings could help too.

The body will produce sweat from its sweat glands. It can be minimized, but it's impossible to eliminate this function.

try a strong deoderant. you might have to reapply it midday. if all else fails see your doctor, there are prescription deodorants and soaps available. this could be a real medical problem if you've tried everything else. you might have over active sweat glands
