I have a 42' Sylvania 6842THG XGA-HD, widescreen 16:9 television with a gas-plasma display compatible with progressive-scan and high-definition signals up to 1080i with a HDMI input terminal. What HDMI brand/make/type of wire would you recommend and what is the approx. price range? Thank you very much!

Any HDMI cable will do. This is a digital interface. Price depends on length, definitely below $20.

Just get a regular HDMI certified cable. They are all basically the same. Don;t pay alot. If you are going over 15ft, make sure you get atleast a 24AWG cable.
