You asked only Marines, but you have received answers from many non-Marines. Your approach is not very 'scientific', if you are hoping for 'true read' on this subject.
I KNOW one of the answers you have received is correct that states "who stay celibate while away, and are devoted to their wives, fiances, and girlfriends !" Most are in this category - male & female!
The other part of this commentator's statement is not true, AND shows he is NOT a Marine, nor in any branch of the military:

Your question of 'how many' can best be answered by a pharmacist mate attached to the FMF. More than likely, many Marines do use the services of hookers, however there's the select few who stay celibate while away, and are devoted to their wives, fiances, and girlfriends !
