Illegal immigrants to go home? Of course. There's no point keeping them locked up here... it's still wasting tax money!

It depends on which border, if the Canadian border, yes, but if the Mexican border not without being strip searched and/ or cavity searched and given an intradermal chip implant beside the sternum just over the heart that would give off a signal after a prescribed timeframe had expired so the person could be tracked down and tattooed with the word 'illegal' across his or her face and have a standing order to all US citizens to shoot to kill any such person. Clean and simple. If anyone tried to remove the chip it would dump hydrochloric acid into the persons chest cavity.

Very touchy situation , very serious question you pose.
Many different views.
So i will add mine to the list.
The answer is yes for those who are seeking to better their lives and that of their families. We are bordered on one side by Canada which is not considered a"third world country" so we a re a little more lax on admitting the "Immigrants.
After all for the most part they are bringing in monies.

But on the other side we have the " homeless the hungry, the poor , the downtrodden, lets not forget those who are trying to escape the wars, the killings oppressive governments.

But they do not bring in monies , right.?
Well guess I am a Little different I believe that we should open the borders to the other countries to the South.

You say , well that will let the Terrorists in easier. That may be so. But that has not stopped them yet.
The terrorists just bought a ticket and did their thing.
So guess it is a delicate situation.

PS . I am open to " email conversation, debates and just open to sharing.
Don't be shy.

They aren't immigrants UNTIL they cross the border. If we don't allow them to cross the border, they won't be immigrants.

We do allow immigrant to cross the border, the legal ones, you sign up, you pay up, you wait for your papers. That's how you do it legally, not stuff you and sixty others in a truck and demand we all speak Spanish now.

You know, the immigrants should be killed because all they do is gain our trust (they can go into computering and they have all the rights and us americans and they can get a degree and hake into private sercerity) I really hate that our country is so F U C K E D up. WE ARE IN A WAR and we STILL let IMMIGRANTS IN.

Why of course as long as they follow procedures mandated by the united states. they must be accounted for just as we are accounted for. I can understand why they come across the border illegally, it is because of their corrupt government, they cater to the rich and enslave the poor. also the trafficantes or drug lords make hundreds of millions of dollars from the cocaine and marijuana trade. so do some of our politicians. this is going to be an on going dilemma until some one puts their foot in the right persons behind.

I don't know who you are referring to when you say "they".

Immigrants who want to come to the U.S., applying for work visas, abiding by those visas, are guaranteed they will be able to stay in the U.S. under the conditions of that visa.

Once the conditions of that visa have expired, the immigrant shall be expected to return to their country of origin, no matter what that country of origin.

Some of my ancestors were Native American, some immigrated and intermarried with my Native American ancestors. I am proud of both. Unfortunately, many of my Native American ancestors were forced into "boarding schools" operated by a government denying my Native American language, forcing my great grandparents and grandparents to relinquish their language and culture.

Am I angry that our government has now allowed many Hispanics to come to "my" country, receive social services denied my ancestors, and still retain their language. Our government even prints tax forms, driver's license tests, etc.in Spanish! You bet I am!

As a teacher in the American Public School System, I abhor any state that allows any immigrant the privilege of a public education without verification of citizenship.

As long as they are documented not sneaking across yes they should be allowed to come here. Isn't that what America was based on is immigrants?
