The bio-chip?

On Thursday i had to catch the bus,while i was waiting by myself,out of no where came this 80 some odd old lady,she asked me do i know about the chip. And i was like "huh". She told me about this bio-chip we all supposedly have to have. I'm baptist and she asked me am i Christian,then she said its kind of the same thing. The thing about the chip she said is that 666 is on each 1,the bible in Chapters 14,15,and 16 in the last book of it speak about it to a certain extent. She said my soul and nyone elses who gets it soul will instantly burn in the lake of fire forever. Then she asked me a 2nd time after educating me about the chip will i take it. I told her no,she said i will die if i don't and am i willing to die for god and i immediately said yes. I'm not getting anykind of chip put in me even outside of my religious beleifs. Anyone here of this chip,tell me more. Its been worrying me all weekend.

I don't know though,i was always told elders know what they're talking about,she seemed very beleivable,maybe even some kind of angel,she popped up out of no where and she walked off when my friends walked up to the bus stop,they seemed to have not seen her,she was there for 2 more minutes.

I'm not going to get beheaded,i just can't ,if so i'm not going out without a fight,i mean war, i will be shot before instead of beheaded,just me. I'll commit some crimes if i have to and go on the run so they'll shoot me instead.

Think about it though,sound pretty clever,why would they put 666 on them,those devils.

The mark is visible right though? I heard the battery is lithium and can explode and corode,sound like it to me its all coming together.

It sounds as if this woman has been reading the left behind series of books. In it, it is supposed that the anti-christ will insist on everyone having his mark via a bio-chip that is to be inserted under the skin of the hand or forehead in an effort to be able to control the buying and selling etc. as spoken of in Revelation.

We can believe the Bible in that we will need to accept or deny the mark of the anti-christ during the tribulation period but no one knows how this will be done or what this mark will be. Be watchful but if you are truly a child of God, let him tell you when and how. I can assure you He will.

This is why I don't take the bus when I can.

Crazy people frequent buses and bus stops to tell you this crap. Don't worry, you won't go to hell, or anything like that. She probably saw something about the chip on CNN then flipped out. There are such devices, but they are not as widespread as that crazy lady said. Some are used for high-security clearance in office buildings, some are used for VIPs. Farmers use microchips to track farm animals, but that's really it. It's use is very, very limited. And If it ever becomes popular, you probably won't be forced to have one. There are already laws making it so if the used pf an ID chip or anything like that becomes available to the general public, its use would be strictly voluntary.

EDIT: Putting a chip on your forehead or hand (Where these end-of-the-world people say the chip will be placed) would actually be a pretty dumb idea, not much in the way of flesh to protect it from damage. It'd work better in your underarm or thigh.

Ah, the crazy things you hear at church! The bio-chip is just the latest iteration of that literalistic Christian scare tactic. First it was tatoos, then bar codes. Since the introduction of ID chips into pets, this is a natural next step. None of these has ever happened, so far. The point is, they want it to happen. It would be an undisputable sign of the Apocalypse and of their impending salvation.

However, they are ignoring one obstacle, the natural distrust of citizens toward their government, especially when it makes totalitarian moves. Because the task of a government is to govern (i.e. maintain order and stability), there is a natural temptation to want to exert as effective a control as possible over citizens, and maybe even keep track of them. But you also don't want to rile them up by appearing to threaten their freedom of movement and action.

The current American government has been exploiting the theme of global terrorism to imply that citizens are already threatened and therefore need "protection". To be most effective of course, people should cooperate and give up some of their freedoms. THAT would be the way something like this could possibly happen, but it can't be too obvious. Whatever eschatological significance the millenialists want to put on it, the desire of governments to make government easier is always there, whether in Nero's day or ours. It's always up to us to decide how much we'll cooperate, and why.

You can do a web search on the Mark of the Beast and on the bio-chip and the company that is making it. Rumor has that people have already been seen scanning thier hands to check out in stores, I'm sure you will find that info in your search....using it in pets is just the beginning....you can't find the word chip in the scriptures but the defination to mark according to some is etching, if you note in the KJV of the Bible it says the mark will be IN the right hand or IN the forehead, not ON......this makes for some good reasearch on the chip.....have fun searching...

It won't be a chip. It is a spiritual manifestation of the mark you already have. You have finger prints and an iris that match no one else on earth. A chip can be falsified but it is much more difficult to fake an iris or palm print. The mindset is what is important here. Chips will most likely be a thing used but will not be the "mark" of the AC. Your identification will be what you already posses as part of you. Inclusion of a chip is too intrusive and would be balked at by too many people. Since we already have identifying markings, syncing them up with a global database would be cheap and easy in comparison to a global distribution of chips.

First of all, stop worrying. Second, begin educating yourself about endtime prophecy.
The mark of the beast may or may not take the form of a biochip. Yes, RFID is now tinier than a grain of rice, and yes, Veri-Chip has been implanted in some people, but not as "the mark". Only when the anti-Christ comes to power will he initiate that program.

Does Revelation Chapter 1 specify that the message was given to John (on the Island of Patmos) in signs and symbols.
The word' Chip'....I cannot find that word in those chapters or anywhere else.

"If" we as Christians are here in the time of Great Tribulation,then of course we would not accept any mark or chip implantation. This would be swearing allegiance to the Antichrist and the new world order.

They have been experimenting with the chip in humans in my home state of Florida for a few years already.

They have developed some chip but as of now it isn't a must do issue. But the chip is being fought by watchful Christian and other groups. There should be a website for you to get info.
