Am I short?

Question

I'm 13 and five-foot-seven. I'm taller than most of the people in my grade, but I still feel short. Am I short, average, or fairly tall? Need confidence booster. Or at least an honest answer.

If you're taller than your classmates (and I'm assuming you're the same age group) then why would you think yourself short? I've checked with the Maternal Health Charts and you are in the top 10% for height at your age, so relax!
Your confidence shouldn't be based on your height, who you are inside is really more important. Be kind to yourself, be kind to those around you, and you will always be able to stand tall.

If for whatever reason you are feeling short, wear heels! But I promise you, you are not short!

You are fairly tall. That is a really good height actually. I'm 5'9'' and am a little too tall, but at 5'7'', you are still shorter than many boys, but taller than most girls. Lucky you!

I'd say you're average or tall. But who cares? I'm 34 and I'm only 5'7" ish and I'm also a guy, so that's kinda short. Don't worry about this, it will all be OK later.

you are pretty tall. i am the same age and only 5-2 to 5-3. but if you feel short. you are still growing.
