No I believe in Him because of what the Bible says He will do for me. He brings joy to my life on a daily basis. Has made my life meaningful. I now know I have a purpose. Before I was just living to die. Now I want to live and bring as many people to saving grace and a more fulfilling life here on earth. Peace out.....

I believe in Him because of the Bible. The Bible is all true and I believe every word in it. I also have faith. I have faith that Jesus rose from the dead and that He will come back for everyone one day. Take the saved and leave the non-saved on Earth for the 7 year tribulation. Then He will come back when those seven years are up and take the rest of the saved people with Him to Heaven!
God Bless!

That's why I converted. I wanted to go to heaven. We're all immortal according to the Bible, it's just where you spend eternity that's different. Death is the lack of fellowship with God. This is why Adam and Eve died when they sinned in Eden. Their fellowship with God was broken when they ate that apple. I was only six at the time I converted. Since then I have questioned my faith many times but always came back to the same conclusion; that the Bible is right. Besides, what other hope do we have?

Nah, they believe because theirpreacher dangles thethreat ofHELL in front of them, even though, if they actually READ the book they proclaim to follow, they'd know that hell wasn't even mentioned in it once until the pentecostals got hold of it in the70's and changed it, Now, sadl, all they know about the bible is what some one wrote in revolutions, and they've taken out the most important line in that book, It goes at thevery front and said 'and I slept and I had a dream, a terrible dream.'

Tell me this,,,if there is no afterlife, what will you do? The answer is nothing, because you won't exist. The thought of afterlife is great for Christians. We look forward to seeing family members and friends. But if there wasn't any chance of afterlife, I wouldn't change my belief or faith. Christianity teaches to love those around us and live in harmony. That is enough for me. Anything else like eternal life, which I do believe in, is just an added benefit.

I can tell you that I am not a Christian because of immortality dangled in front of me. I am a human being and I believe ALL human beings have the same destiny. All human beings can partake of everlasting life.

I became a Christian because Jesus came to me in a dream one night and changed my sceptical mind. I know he is real since the last half of my dream wasn't a dream but was happening in my bedroom. After that experience I became a Christian because I realized Jesus is truly alive and he is who he says he is, God.
You,re following something empty and not real. I'm following something I researched and I have found is real and the joy I have in my life is worth all the ridicule, all the persecutions, all the rejection and yes it would be worth it even to the death. That is how real this is to me. Have you found something so spectacular you would die for it?

Many have done that, for just one more day of life. Apparently, your life has never been in jeopardy. Religion is not just an intelectual exercise. Life is important, and my imortality is far more important to me, than you can ever imagine.
I believe in Jesus, because he forgave me. The rest is a bonus.

I believe Pastor John. i ought to upload this notwithstanding... !st Corinthians 7:36 (i imagine) talks about in the adventure that they are ENGAGED and INTEND to marry, it should be okay. they do no longer sin in accordance to this financial disaster/verse. yet when their target isn't to marry, then definite, they're incorrect. I dont trust in disfellowship. it ought to should be a looooong sequence of counseling them and praying with them and attempting each little thing less than the sunlight to get them to marry. If all else fails i ought to nevertheless no longer help the congregation in giving them a timeline or ultimatum. And if the church disfellowshipped them, i ought to locate a sparkling position to worship! it really is form of severe for my section. i ought to do each little thing in my power to avert it, yet your precise, it does say that contained in the Bible. So if it replaced into an overpowering vote and the congregation desirous to disfellowship them, then so be it. I nevertheless wouldnt help it yet ought to comprehend the church homes position. they could were given sufficient chance and many help. like the above poster suggested, what ought to Jesus do?

That may be why some say they are. Here is the thing though. God knows your true heart and he knows if you are doing of saying you are a Christian because your scared or because you really love and worship him. You can't trick God, so hopefully, many will really consider that when they are claiming Christianity. Just because you say you are, doesn't make it so. By their fruits you will know them.
