Sometimes I can;t tell the difference

2007-04-14 15:37:45 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 3 1

I do, sometimes. Just to play along and have some laughs. The other times to make a strong and direct point to the person asking that question. Some of those ?'s are offensive and uncalled for. To purposely hurt others just for the laughs is not to be tolerated. Most of the time I answer only to the ?'s that I feel I can be helpful to that person one way or the other. If you do come accross some that you feel strongly offended by, than by all means report it to Y/A. After that Y/A will do what they feel is the right thing to do. I know some people got banned from Y/A. Do what you feel is right.

If I feel that I can afford to waste an answer from a time standpoint, I will sometimes answer in an effort to get the questioner to think about what they asked (said). Most times however, I will ignore them so I might spend my time answering someone who honestly wants to know.

I read the question and if I get the sense that God wants me to answer it in a certain way, I answer. If I get nothing other than a smart alec remark popping into my head...then I ignore the question and go on because I know that does not come from God but only from myself.

As to what we should do about it...let them ask what they will. Its a free country.

Not all days on YA are the same. Sometimes it seems that everybody is trying to be the joker, while at other times there are actually good questions. I admit that sometimes I answer the silly questions because they're fun and it gets too serious in here for our own good. We need to keep it light sometimes.

Not only do I answer silly and insincere questions, I sometimes give silly and insincere answers to honest, sincere questions.

What do I suggest we do?

Have fun. Is the point, no?

I DO.

What should we do??

Nuttin' Abel. Don't do a thing. Silly and insincere questions are what make Y!A half the fun that it is. Don't be a wet blanket, now.

I agree..but theres nothing we can do but report them..I think Yahoo should delete/block certain people/IP addresses after so many spam questions (and the silly questions that people ask when bored too..)

There should be a policy that after so many deleted questions in violation you get blocked for Y!A for a month..the more you offend the more youre blocked!

I do, sometimes, but if I don't find a question silly enough or intriguing enough, I start voting....and then come back to check the newest questions after a few minutes.

I do cause I like to type (LOL) and see what's in the minds of my fellow man, even the dull and ignorant. I also like to laugh. This site has many categories just for fun.

I answer the ones that interest me. I always answer the stupid but sincere ones, just so that I can add a voice of reason.
