If I understand your question, you are asking if the events surrounding the "founding" of the Mormon Church are recorded in the Bible? Correct.
My answer would be yes. In several places. The Mormon (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believes that the church Christ established while he was here on the earth fell away from the truth over the years, and needed to be once again "restored" to the earth. This was predicted by Biblical writers and is mentioned repeatedly in the New Testament.
Also, the events of an angel being Principal to helping Joseph Smith restore the Gospel of Christ is also mentioned in the Bible. Additionally, the coming of the Book of Mormon is also refer4red to in the Bible, particular made mentioned as the "Stem of Jesse" meaning the the descendants of Jesse where those inhabitants of the Americas that originally y recorded their history on the plates that Joseph Smith translated into the Book of Mormon.

Here are the Biblical references:

The restoration and apostasy from the truth:
1 Cor. 11: 18
Galatians 1: 6
2 Thessalonians 2: 3
2 Timothy 3: 5
Amos 3: 7
Acts 3: 21

Angels Restore the Truth
Rev. 14: 6

Book of Mormon, Stem of Jesse
Isaiah 11:1
Ezekial 37:19
John 10: 16

Mormons follow the King James version of the bible just like many, many american christian churches. Americans reflect on the fact that mormons used to (used to) have more than 1 wife! But this was due to the fact that Brigham Young led the Oregon trail to the great salt lake. Many women were left as widows with cattle a wagon several children, from hostile attacks b/c of the religion or by Indians. Most of the marriges were then arranged as business deals to keep a mormon family alive in a new land.

No. But that is why Mormons refer to the founders of their religion as "Latter Day Saints" to distinguish them from the earlier ones who were in the bible you are talking about.

Greetings,

I'm not sure your question is worded how you wanted it to be.

But let me share with you the Bible's prediction about people who will come along and preach another gospel, a gospel which they claim to have gotten from an angel.

Two leaders of large and growing religious groups have make the claim that their new message, was delivered to them by an Angel.

Joseph Smith claimed that he got his message from the angel Moroni.

Mohammed claimed that he got his message from the angel Gabriel.

You can read about that in Galatians chapter 1 verses 6 thru 10.

PS: I'm a Bible believing Christian, not a Mormon, not a Muslim.
