Even when I'm not hungry, I feel the need to eat. If I think of something that sounds good, I can't focus on anything until I've eaten the thing I was thinking about. All day it seems as though I'm anticipating what my next meal is going to be. I feel very ashamed after I've eaten when I wasn't hungry. It makes me feel disgusted & embarassed. I'm not overweight, 5'4 & 140 but I'm afraid that this will cause me to get big. How can I get rid of the desire to always be eating? I eat tons of fruits, vegetables & protein on a regular basis & only drink water & my unwanted cravings I have always seem to be high in carbs;rice, pasta, cereal, etc. I usually give in to these cravings at night & the bad thing is that I'll eat the whole package of what I made. It makes me mad at myself b/c I know eating at night isn't good b/c you're less active. It's driving me crazy b/c I can't function unless I give in to these cravings. My husband doesn't know I'm struggling with this & it's making me nuts.

Make sure you get enough nutrients during the day. Chew gum when you want to eat. Replace a bad habit with a good one.
