My female friends and have talked about this many times and though the answer is almost always the same there are always a few who are shallow enough to say no.

Personally I think if a guy has a great personality the become more physically attractive as you become more attracted to their personality.

A hot guy with a really bad personality is not only a turn off on the intellectual and emotional levels but the relationship eventually becomes pointless.

If you are not that good looking, and a girl doesn't go out with you because of that, then you're probably chasing after the wrong girl anyway. Beauty fades. Personality heavily influences how attracted I am to someone.

Also, think of it this way: How often do you see a REALLY hot guy with a really ugly girl? Hardly ever. I think that guys are much more superficial than girls (No offense, but I just notice much more beautiful girls with half-decent guys)

Bottom line is that women can be attracted to men for many other reasons than looks. Once she gets to know you, she may end up being attracted to you anyway.

1. We can not deny that look is important, but it's not the most important thing. As long as he is neat and clean, 'ok' (medium) looking, then its ok.

2. For me, the most important thing is brain and wide knowledge... A guy without a brain is a car without the engine... Brain is important because its used to think of academic subjects, think of you, think of your feeling, think how to make you happy, think of cheering you while you are sad, think think think...

3. His attitude, behavior, etiquete, manners, are also important. This shows he is well educated by his parents. As an asian, it would be very important for me.

4. Again, we can't deny money is important, but its now how you put it as a priority. For me, i think money is very important, but not the most important thing. Having it enough for my everydays life would be satisfying.

5. Religion is road who lead the one who believe it. Even though they all have a same destination and ending, I believe taking different road is not easy, therefore i would want someone who walk on a same road. I find a religious guy is also attractive, when he tells you the best chapter he like it the bible, etc...

6. He must love me no matter how i look and accept my weaknesses... Understands by silence... Know what to do when we need him, and I want to be needed by him. I want to give and to be given, I want him to be a place where I can depend on, and I want to be a place where he can depend on.

That's how important looks for me and what i find attractive in guys although not all yet...
Everybody has their own different charm therefore they all have strong and weak point in different areas but yet none of them make it into perfection. Yeah. Every girl is attracted to something different. Looks aren't everything. For me a guy who is good looking usually ends up being too vain to get close to. However, maybe I am just meeting the wrong guys. As a matter of fact, the only guy that I've dated that wasn't a jerk was not that attractive at first, but his confident attitude and sweet demeanor caught me off guard, and had me hooked.

Honestly, no way. But people like different things. A lot of girls would think fat is very unattractive, I actually find it cute. I kind of like the skinny guy, but never the muscular ones. Curly hair is to die for, long surfer hair I hate but a lot of girls (for some strange unknown reason) would kill for it. Girls find different attractions, To me looks do matter sometimes but it's not like I'm looking for a guy with golden locks and a godly like body! There will always be someone who'll find you attractive.

The first thing I see is good looks. But than again, I agree with the quote that says beauty is in the eyes of beholder because when I find a guy good looking, my friends don't think so and I feel the same about my friend's choice too.

So, yeah. First thing I notice is good looks. But if he has this attitude problem, that makes him ugly. But if he has good personality, that makes him perfect guy for me.

I think looks fade...I have to admit I once developed a crush on a guy that many said was not so good looking. It turns out this guy was very intelligent and really nice. I think personality overpowers everything else about a guy.
