It's just a demon oppressing you. You need to be building yourself up in the spirit. One way of doing this is by confessing Christ (while you are awake!)
Main Entry: night·mare
Pronunciation: 'nIt-"mer
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from 1night + 1mare
1 : an evil spirit formerly thought to oppress people during sleep
2 : a frightening dream that usually awakens the sleeper
3 : something (as an experience, situation, or object) having the monstrous character of a nightmare or producing a feeling of anxiety or terror

Seems like I did that once, long time ago.
I remember when I used to wake up, throwing my arm out as if a Sword was in it and saying "in the Name of Jesus".
Used to get attacked alot by the devil long time ago, but the more you Wack'em in the Head with the Sword of the Spirit (Word of GOD), the less and less those devils will bother you. They get tired of getting Beat-Up too, and that's what Speaking the Word does to them.
Remember, Jesus made the devils "Tremble".
We do too!
Ditto......

I think your dream is telling you that there is something in your life that is trying to stop you from speaking about God or Jesus and/or asking for their help. Think about what is going on in your life. Is there someone putting pressure on you? Ask God if he was sending you a message in your dream, and to make it clear what the message was. Best wishes.

Yes, we are helpless without God. Have some faith.
Its kind of like the falling dream. Its something you worry about.
I'm no expert but I'd say that you're dream represents life without God. You can never let it come to that. Without God, you are lost and helpless and I think that that is what is illustrated by your dream.
Hold on to God. Always. Pray to Him and ask for faith. Amen.

I've had that happen.I usually manage to get the words out with difficulty.I used to dream that cloaked figures (like the death guy) were holding me and I'd be like paralyzed, until I'd say "Jesus "and then they'd let go.I think Satan attacks us at our most vulnerable moments, especially the more we are involved in Church.

don't know, maybe you don't trust in God or are doubting his ability to help you, lack of trust expressed in not being able to call out to God. These are just my ideas. Keep praying for stronger faith in God in Jesus' name.
