866 numbers just means toll free right? ...so does that mean it could be ANYWHERE and they are just calling toll free. i got a call from someone on my cell phone Twice that was an 866 number and am dying to know who it is. mostly because there is this guy in Europe on a trip that i had been going on a couple dates with before and so could they use that number in Europe even too? i don't want to call the number back because then i would sound stupid..

Yes, an 866 number is a toll free number in the US. Someone calling you from out side the country could not use our toll free numbers and there would be more than the typical 11 digits for a long distance call within the US.

NO. 800/866/877/888 are free. The only way you can incur a charge for them is if you are using a wireless phone which will charge you per minute depending on the time you call. Some people often think that if they dial an 800 based number from your cell it will not take minutes.
