I'm a Christian, so I believe all the people on the planet descended from Noah. When the Constitution says "All men are created equal" I have no problem with that.

But in the evolution religion, some people are said to have "evolved" further and ARE better than others.

Is it the white people you consider to be better? Chuckie Darwin did, he even said so in his book subtitled "The Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life"

The Japanese under Tojo thought they were more highly evolved than the Chinese, so they thought it was ok to slaughter them like animals.

Hitler thought the Aryans were more highly evolved than everybody else, and he set out to kill everybody else beginning with the Jews.

It's estimated that 192,000,000 men, women and children have been mercilessly slaughtered as a result of evolution-based communism/socialism/fascism.

So, evolutionists, are you "better" than everyone else? How about just some others? Where are you in the pack?

Evolutionists think they are "better" than others - at least smarter. That is one of their greatest weaknesses - arrogant pride! They hold onto a philosophy that says man is evolving as time passes - getting smarter and more moral - because society today is so advanced compared to the so called "cave men era" yet crime never ceases or diminishes. Suicide rates have skyrocketed along with depression among our young people; Moral relativism is sweeping across the world like a plague. Evolution breeds despair, death, racism, arrogance, intolerance, and stupidity.

Plus it's most harmful effect is that it refuses to give glory to God! It not only keeps man away from God by traveling down a wide road that leads to hell, it also keeps man from giving the praise & glory that is due to God's name. This is the most offensive aspect of evolution!

Evolution not only makes ignorant bastards out of us, it is also a slap in God's face!

1. evolution is not a religion
2. evolution does not say one organism is better than another. Evolution says one organism is better adapted to its environment than another. If the environment changes, who is "better" changes as well. From an evolutionary standpoint a single bacterium is no better or worse an organism than an ant, tree or human.
3. how many people have been and are being slaughtered in the name of religion? I am sure it far exceeds the numbers killed by any other event. Whenever Christians were in power, they thought it was OK to slaughter any non-christians. They did do so with great enthusiasm. Ever read the bible? I don't think so, otherwise you'd read the part about the log in your eye...
4. people on the planet are decendet from Noah. Have you ever looked at the story of the Sumerian Ziusudra? It's Noah to life, only much earlier. Noah is just a copycat story. Anyway if you believe Noah, you must condone incest, as he only took his sons and their families along.

Evolution is a process of adaption. No humans can really be said to be more evolved than another though we have a lot of variation within out species and some people may be "better" than others in certain respects.

For example, a person who is immune to the plague certainly has an advantage over people who are not. A very dark person would certainly withstand areas of the world with high UV levels better than a very fair skinned person, who would burn very badly without sunscreen. A fair skinned person would do better than a very dark skinned person in areas of the world with low levels of sunlight because they can absorb more vitamin D. A dark skinned person would be more prone to ricketts in this environment.

So what is "better" depends on the context of the environment.

When we say crocodiles are less "evolved" than other species, we mean the species has existed unchanged for a long time. This doesn't make is inferior to other species because it is obviously well adapted to it's environment.

In the evolution "religion"? Really, why are some people so bothered by scientific fact? I've never understood why so many people have insist on limiting the power of an omnipotent God/Goddess/etc. Why wouldn't a divine being build in evolution so species could adapt to change? Well, I guess that's neither here nor there in your question.

Presently all humans are so genetically similar, that anthropologists don't even see enough differentiation for separate races of humankind. So presently no one group is genetically better than others (certain groups ARE more immune to some diseases that others - look up the possible anemia/resistant to malaria link, for example, but I don't want to tax your brain too much). Luckily we humans often intermarry, so it's doubtful one group will have a significant genetic advantage over others. This, of course, doesn't take into account individual mutations, which can be harmful or helpful to an individual.

Good luck trying to spread your own thinly-disguised brand of hatred. Guess that whole "Judge not, lest ye be judged also." doesn't fly in your church.

You are a bit angry and confused here I think. If you are an evolutionist, it is not saying that the believer is better. It is a belief that there is better out there. And evolution was not the reason why all these people were killed. Political power struggles and manipulations are the reason for it. There is religion and national differences. I bet there were evolutionist killed in the concentration camps of Hitler. Your comments are too general and need to be refined better. Evolution is not a religion it is a scientific theory. If you consider evolution as a religion then there must be a faith called astrophysicism for the people that study stars.

"But in the evolution religion, some people are said to have "evolved" further and ARE better than others." -Note: When did Evolution become a religion?

I believe you've gotten Social Darwinism mixed up with the Scientific Theory of Evolution.

BTW

Hitler thought the Aryans were more highly evolved than everybody else, and he set out to kill everybody else beginning with the Jews.

- Hitler wasn't an Evolutionist

It's estimated that 192,000,000 men, women and children have been mercilessly slaughtered as a result of evolution-based communism/socialism/fascism.

- Where did you get this estimate? Also stop listening to conservative right wing propaganda, Evolution doesn't lead to Communism nor fascism. Hitler used fascism and he wasn't Liberal nor believed in Evolution. Stop mixing things into your broken theory.

A Christian, huh? So you believe the bits in the Bible where one group is superior to another and the lesser groups deserve to be slaves? For example, When a slave owner strikes a male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies immediately, the owner shall be punished. But if the slave survives a day or two, there is no punishment; for the slave is the owner's property. (Exod. 21:20-21) Do you also forget the tower of Babel? Don't mix the races. This was used to defend Apartheid. Your silly little fantasies denying the reality of intolerance by religion is revolting. Evolution is just a reality, not the basis for any religion or dogma. It is people like you who will try to dictate reality through your superstitions that are an abomination in today's civilized world.

The concept of "more evolved" or "less evolved" is a fallacy. Any two descendents of a common ancestor are equally "evolved" - simply in different directions. People often use the "more or less" to refer to supposed similarity to the ancestor. This often erroneously assumes that evolution proceeds in a linear rather than cladistic pattern.

Think of a branched tree, rather than a single line.

Darwin's uses the word "races" in its strictly biological meaning of "lineages" (this was actually the original meaning of the word). The word "race" in the 21st century has far more political meanings now - or perhaps we are more aware of the misuses the concept can be subject to.

While it is a common tactic of creationists to blur the distinct meanings words have held historically, it is mischievous.

Skeptic123 is right.

Evolution is not a religion.

You are talking about social Darwinism (which was *not* Darwin's idea but rather a twisting of it by people looking for support for their superiority and racist worldview).

I don't know if Darwin really believed that white people are more "advanced" than others. I haven't read The Origin of Species. I don't know if you have. But that isn't really the idea of evolution. It's a natural process that explains how species change, adapt, die out, or arise.

Communism, socialism, and fascism have no bases in Social Darwinism.

Those millions of people who died under communist/fascist rule died under controlling dictatorships.

However, as you said, Hitler's and Tojo's ideologies do have that bases. And like any hate-filled ideology, they led to terrible human cruelty and destruction.

People who believe that certain races are more advanced or better than others don't know that we are all part of the same race, the human race. And that we all belong to the same species, homo sapiens.

I think it's a proven fact that there are people on the planet that are smarter than others. Does that make them "better"? No, just smarter. And I don't believe all the smart people belong to one race. I think we're a mixture of races.

Where am I? I'm just an intelligent person, interested in learning more about everything, part of a diverse group of citizens of the world.
