true, modern society worships the false trinitarian God of money, power, and sex. If you think about it, these three things are in the hearts and minds of most people.

No. Sex is just one motivator, a gratuitous experience that people will lust after. Money is the means to obtain many desirable things, which is why it is desirable.

But think about things like possessions, power, prestige, pleasure, hate, and jealousy. All of these are motivators as well. Money and sex can definitely be very big motivators, but they are certainly not the only ones.

The LOVE of MONEY---L,O,V,E--- not money, is the Root of all Evil.

Now Sex, that's a good'n!
Yeah, let's just say that the way were made, well, alot of the entire person is hooked up to this one, that is why Marriage is so Important, and that is why BONDING between two Married People is so much Stronger if neither one has had any Experience in this Field (sex) untill they get Married.
Just the way were made.

No.

The greatest and most spectacular acts of evil (as in the Holocaust, the crimes of communism, the Inquisition, 9/11, etc.) arise from the desire to create a perfect world, a perfect world that can only exist if you exterminate all that disagree with you.

The Bible does say that money is the root of all evil.

With money comes power, sex, all the other things that folks here have mentioned.

I'd take it a little farther to include greed, control/power, selfishness, and hatred.

With the two that you mentioned, I think we'd probably have the motives for almost every crime ever committed.

The means to acquire either can be evil. Taking money, or sex is wrong, it has to be either earned, or given freely. To be wealthy, or promiscuous is to have more of either than you deserve.

Yes, I am inclined to agree with you. First I would have to say money, as people think money brings power. And for some it does. Just look at the politicians and government officials, they are prime examples of corruptness.

The only reasons I do things you call evil are for personal gratification. Very rarely money, and almost never, sex.

Sin basically falls into 3 motivating factors:
Sins of the flesh - sex, gluttony, etc.
Sins of envy - I want what he has (stealing, etc.)
Sins of pride - I'll lie to protect my reputation, etc.
