what gives you the right to invade their country in the first place? it was unilateral action, an illegal war unsupported by the UN and using a false pretext. now you find yourself in a mess, so what now? nuke 'em, kill innocent life, kill women and babies. later you can eat your dinner and talk about human rights, and how evil Iran is. Huwaaarrgh!

it is not "ok" to nuke Japan. the alternative to apply atomic weapons on civilian populations to end WW2 remains being debated via philosophers and historians. Nuking civilian populations in Iraq on the instant might do little or no to "win the peace" in Iraq and can legitimize different international locations who've weapons to apply them. A simular argument would be made interior the Vietnam conflict concern.

Oh yes... that is perfectly logical. All the countries who also have nukes could just aim them at us then... This is not WW2, we are not the only ones capable of taking out the world anymore. We would not be feared, we would be anialated.

We don't do it because 1. that would be killing innocent civilians and you have no idea how many nukes that would take. 2. We would be a hypocrite, I mean we tell Iran not to and if we did that then Iran would go and then everyone else would get afraid and they would start creating nukes.

This is the worst idea ever. Did you ever consider all the innocent civilians and their families in Iraq?
Nuclear weapons are a last resort option.

Why would we nuke a country where the majority of people are wanting peace. It the insurgents (who most of are not Iraqi) that are causing the problems. So perhaps we should just nuke Iran.

Sure, we can become the only country to ever use nuclear weapons against civilians twice, instead of just once.
Do you really think that will improve the world's opinion of us?
