Well first of all, bad idea when you die your hair and it does not work, you don't do it straight away, it will just go worse, you are going to have to die it a dark colour(brown or black), you will not be able to go back straight blonde. Go to a hairdresser to see what they say but i think that they will just say the same, good luck.x

I'm not sure how long of a time span you did all this bleaching in, but it sounds like your hair's probably pretty damaged. Give it some conditioning, and if it's really fried, maybe some cheap oil treatment. Give it a week or two, and if the gray didn't fade, try something else, or consider going to a salon.

Take it from a guy who spent 3 solid years as a platinum blonde (my hair is almost black naturally).

When you bleach your hair, the hair itself becomes porous. It will then take on almost any color it comes into contact with.

As to how long, that's kinda tricky. It really depends on how damaged your hair is after the previous bleaching.

Joico makes some really good "after care" products. You can tell a difference after on application and it only gets better as you use it.

You can put on another light coat to get rid of the grey.

Don't bleach it too much w/o a strengthing product or it can come out in clumps.

That happened to me once and I looked like a cancer patient. :(

Nothing wrong with gray hair. Just tell people you were trying for something different. Don't experiment anymore. Try a light brown hair coloring. Blond wont cover up the gray and it might make a funking color. It wont help a lot but it's better then gray.

I had the same problem and trust me --

Give it a week, use clarifying shampoo. Your hair will turn out platinum. That's just how it works.

You don't have to go to a professional, I have seen them wreck hair more often than fix it. I have NEVER been to one for my coloring. I've just learned through trial and error.

You could also dye over it, but go with a light brown -- stay out of the blondes.

Whichever you choose, enjoy your Gun Metal!

when hair can not take anymore pigment it goes grey. Means it's way over processed
I would try a color enhancing shampoo, not the purple shampoo for platinum blondes, one that will deposit a neutral blonde.
Please leave your hair alone, otherwise you will be having a nice chemical cut (breakage).

Id say stay away from the bleach! Go darker...use serious intense conditioners and perhaps try dying it darker with Henna from Lush.

bleaching your hair that many times makes it hard for hair to keep a color. you can wait 2 weeks and try to dye it but it probably will not stay colored for long. because you completely fried your hair from so much bleach
