Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book

The "Time of Trouble" is that 7 year period of Tribulation following the "Rapture" of the Church into Heaven. The last 3 1/2 years are called the "Great Tribulation". It is a time of God pouring out his wrath on an unbelieving world. At the end of the 7 Years, Christ returns and puts an end to what the Bible calls "The Battle of Armageddan". He then sets up His Kingdom on Earth which He personally rules for 1,000 years. This Period and the following Rule of Christ for 1,000 years is covered in great detail in much of the Old Testament. It is not possible to site all of the Scripture References or give the subject it just due on the Y & A pages. There are many Christian Books at your local Christian Book Store that deal with it. Just ask them......theBerean....P.S. Andy, if you want to shoot me an email, I can recommend some solid Christian Books on the Subject. Oh, and by the way, if you go to your local blockbuster, you can rent the "Left Behind" series. The are a "fictional accout" of some of that period. Or read the series of books by the same name. Though, remember, they ARE "fiction". That is, they are based on what the Bible teaches, but the Authors added the "details". Hope that helps......theBerean

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Dan 11 Sounds like a world war and quite possibly the beginning of the Tribulation spoken of in Revelation or the battle in Ezekiel 38 and 39. But I wont pretend to know for sure.

May the Lord richly bless you.

If you are referring to: "The Time Of Jacobs Trouble"...it is descriptive of the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation period, know as The Great Tribulation...and is an unprecedented time of horror for the nation of Israel.

If you're talking about Jesus' words in Matthew 24, the time of trouble has already come and gone.

If you ever get a chance, read Josephus' account of the war between the Jews and Romans from about 63 to 72 AD. The events match in great detail Jesus' predictions in Matthew.

I am not certain which reference you mean.

1. Psalms 50:14,15,16,17

Offer unto God thanksgiving, and pay thy vows unto the Most High,
And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
But unto the wicked, God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth,
Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee?

or perhaps you mean:

2. The Tribulation:
Read the entire book of Revelation for a description of the time of great tribulation, which shall come upon all the earth.

also,
There are other references to times of trouble, and calling upon the Lord for deliverance, throughout the Bible.
