Can you give me any info on an area called Chalkhill Estate, in north london?

my friend lives there, and i am going to england with my family this summer, are there nice hotels there, is it safe? etc...

It is in the London Borough of Brent near Wembley Park.
There are a few hotels around there as it is near Wembley Stadium.
Is it safe ? It is being redeveloped as it is a place which had a very bad reputation. Whether this will sort it out and make it "nice" remains to be seem.
