There is no way to tell what pit bull breed your pup is out of unless you know the pit bulls bloodline. If you know it, post it or pm me with it and I can tell you.

EDITED: The term pit bull does not refer only to Staffordshire Terriers. It refers to Staffordshire Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Pit Bull Terriers, Bull Terriers, American Bulldogs, Cain Corsos, Presas, several otehr breeds as well as any dog that even resembles a pit bull type.

Red nose, actually Old Family Red Nose (OFRN) is not a line of Staffordshire Terriers but a line of gamebred American Pit Bull Terriers. Anymore, a pit bull having a red nose means nothing other than that he has a red nose. The overbreeding of APBTs by people who dont know what they are doing have demolished much of the OFRN line. You have to know some very special people in order to get anything even close to the old OFRN lines, and you better go with a boat load of cash.

pit bull is used as a general term for most people, but the only true pit bull is the American Pit Bull Terrier, they are easily confused with Staffordshire Terriers. Both are good dogs.

You can't really tell what the dog is without a pedigree, sorry but true, My opion would be an APBT, they are almost identical in behavior patterns to Rotties, so they should make really good people friendly dogs.

They will also be extremely destructive as pups so puppy proof you stuff ASAP

The term "Pit Bill" is short for "Staffordshire Terrier". It is in the "Terrier" family.

So you are not confused, there is only ONE "Pit Bull" breed. No more than that. Like the term "Terrier" can consist of many different type terriers, like Cairn Terrier, Yorkshire (Yorkie) Terrier. Same goes for Staffordshire (Pit Bull) Terrier. Hope that helps!

Very cute puppies! I love how they took traits from both parents, especially the one with that Half and Half face!!!!

But yes, I think they are mixed with the, -Red nosed- American Staffordshire bull terrier. Becuase of the pink noses. When they get older, they may become a little darker.

LOL! You had me there for a minute....until I saw your username, I was like "what the heck!" and finally I realized you were joking. Thank God, and again, LOL! Some of these ppl are ridiculous...they're acting as if you're actually going to do this. Which, of course, someone smart like you wouldn't!!! bassetnut - WOW that lady was soooo stupid, the one who came to your office, I mean. Yeah, some people can get really dumb! EDIT: If you really meant it, I'd have bitten your head off by now, and yes I've gotten sick of those sorts of questions! And when they're serious it's all the worse. They act as if they have a "right" to breed their dogs whenever and whyever they want to.
