After many years I have gotten over the intense irritation that I felt towards christians and the stealing of pagan holidays. I would suggest that instead of concentrating on the theft of holidays, you should be more irritated and angry about how christians try to stop the rest of us (pagans, wiccans ect.) from expressing our faith in our gods, celebrating our holy days and wearing our symbols of our beliefs in public.

Christmas and Easter certainly seem to have been, but most Christians these days shun Halloween, it is not considered to be a Christian holiday. Thanksgiving wasnt stolen from the native americans, it is a celebration of the time when the starving pilgrims were fed by the native americans.

We didn't steal Halloween. (Lots of Christians refuse to celebrate it at all) I know the whole next day is 'all saints day' but still...that's only borrowed.
the rest......get over it. We borrowed certain pieces and days and celebrate our own celebrations using some of the same things. SO WHAT!!
When a person of one culture moves somewhere else they borrow some of the new culture's practices and include them with their own.......same thing kind of.
You should let this go. You can't really 'steal' a celebration.
Communion = Jesus at the last supper telling "do this in m emory of me" Yes it did happen during passover and may resemble something about it but that could be because Jesus was Jewish.
Person below---Do you honestly expect me to believe its only Roman Catholics that celebrate Easter & Christmas using any pagan symbols (although they are using them in a different manner) cuz that's simply not true. Christians of many denominations are doing the same thing!!

and, by the way, if it not for native americans, there wouldn't have BEEN any thanksgiving...check your history books-then check the menu-just about the entire menu for a 'traditional' american thanksgiving meal consists of foods native to north america

i got over it but as it was mentioned [[my short memory span does not allow me remember who exactly] what does tick me off is not being allowed to celebrate my own holy days. but i do enjoy the time off when they celelbrate their holidays, its a nice stress reliever but i wish i could get days off of school/work/whatever on the sabbats. *sighs* samhain(halloween) would be alot better.

Of course not. If Christianity would have stuch with their original cult status, and not sucked in other religions, it would be remembered as fondly as Greek and Roman mythology, rather than being the blight upon the world it is now.
