You should apply again. With a new addition to the family the rates they go by are different, since they go off of your family size, and you may qualify this time.
I'm sorry you are struggling to survive, and I dont mean to be rude, but why did you get pregnant with another child if you are struggling?

Yes, I would apply again if I were you. I just recently posted a question about WIC an hour or so ago. I'm in the same situation as you, I'm pregnant and my son is 1 year old. I would go apply again. Also, in most states if you are accepted into state healthcare system, you are automatically qualified for a minimum amount of benefits from WIC. That is how it works here in Missouri. I hope this answer helps! Also, remember that it's called Women, Infants, and Children, so a lot of the time you won't receive extra checks for more, that's what one counselor told me, that she could give me checks to benefit myself (I was pregnant at the time) but not my husband. But you probably know just like I do, every little bit helps!!

Apply again! The number in the household is going up, so the guidelines are different. Formula is so expensive... Being a single mother, I dont know what I would have done without WIC.. try again..it is a great, helpful program.

I belive you will qualify. They will count the baby too. WIC is awesome. Call your local wic office and ask what the guidelines are. That will save you a trip just incase you aren't elligible. I don't know where you live but in WV they just raised the guidelines so more people could benefit. Best of luck with help on the formula.

It is possible, so try again. Also if there was any bonus the first time around that will affect it. It is not a waste of your time to try again. More than likely they will let you ask about it over the phone. Give it a shot!
They DO count the baby that you are pregnant with now.
EDIT: Don't worry about what some freak on the internet says. Birth control isn't 100% and it's none of their business anyway. You don't have to try to explain yourself. Congratulations to you!!!

Household or Family Size* Gross Income** Per Month
2 $1,978
3 $2,481
4 $2,984
5 $3,486
6 $3,989
these are the monthly income limits for Washington state. there is a 500 dollar difference for a family of four rather then three if you were only 100 dollars over for a family of three then you should qualify now. reapply

Apply again and tell them you are pregnant. If you qualify you will receive WIC for you while you are pregnant and for the baby and then for the new baby once he/she is born. Its never a waste of time to apply. If you are approved for WIC both babies will have it.

I will be the first to tell you that it never hurts to try again. But there are a few things that you need to take into consideration before going in there and trying it again and that is whether or not his income has changed and if not have they increased the income limits they will usually tell you if you call so I would call first and save myself the trip down there.

If you were only $100 over the limit and are now pregnant, then you and your daughetr will both now qualify for sure. The limits are based on teh number of people in the home. Each "unborn" counts as one. If you list your state I will be happy to look for you a link with your local income guidelines. God bless and congrats on your new baby! I SO understadn what you mean abotu going without! Just found out we are expectign #3.

It wouldn't hurt to try again. I know that after you have the new baby, you will be considered a family of 4, so you will definitely qualify then, but I don't think you'll be approved just yet. You're still considered a family of 3 until the baby is born. But like I said, it won't hurt to try again.
My gawd, I'm sooo sorry. But in the state of Illinois, the child is not counted into your family income until the child is born. So excuse me for being wrong, but technically I'm right.

it may not be a waste of time to reapply because the more children you have the less you have to make. sad huh? but what i would do is call the office and ask them what the child/income ratio is they have it on a chart and figure it out and see where you stand before you go down. hope this was helpful
