The walruses pick it for them.

And how do the walruses reach the fruit, you might ask? (You won't if you're smart, but hey, it's your choice.)

Obviously. They use ladders.

At the time and in the place where humans evolved, there was no advantage to living in trees and some advantage to walking on the ground, such as moving BETWEEN forests. Walking on the ground made some things easier and some new things difficult. Those early humans who learned to cope with the challenges, or whose children were naturally better equipped, found ground life far more advantageous. With fewer trips into the trees, there was no environmental pressure to maintain tree-climbing traits, so those genes were lost, replaced by mutations that were more useful for ground life. Evolution is not a plan with a linear path or a goal. It just describes how species change in response to environmental pressures. If a new environment is more advantageous than an old one, or if an existing environment becomes hostile and there is no alternative, a species will adapt well enough to produce enough fertile descendants or it will go extinct. But if it makes the change, the new environment will have different pressures, and an ability that is no longer of use is likely to fade away with succeeding generations. Gorillas are strong because they have to be. Other gorillas are part of the environment. But humans can think better, so they can avoid, escape or trap the gorillas without needing as much strength.

As pretty much everyone else said, penguins don't eat fruit. Besides that fact, fruit falls out of trees all the time. Take a ride past an orchard sometime and take a look. Actually, maybe skip the orchard and go check out a few books from the library, watch the discovery channel, go to a zoo, or even just take a walk outside to educate yourself a bit about the natural world.

EVOLUTION provided penguins with the ability to catch fish which is there normal diet, not fruit. Many birds eat meat, and not seeds or fruit. Isn't EVOLUTION wonderful? Besides, I don't remember a whole lot of trees in the arctic or in Antarctica.

Chickens don't fly and as you pointed out penguins can't climb trees. I don't see your point. The Hummingbird is like other birds either. The only bird that evolution won't change in your lifetime is the one my right hand presently displays to your ilk. You need to see that to confirm what I've said is the truth or can you accept my middle finger is upright as an article of faith?

Not too many flowering plants in Anarctica and definitely not any trees. And, yeah, fruits, do fall out of trees.

Duh!
Penguins are birds that have evolved to swim in the sea, and they eat fish!
You argument is only valid because of your Neanderthal question.

If its Saturday, why isn't the sun shining? This is the gist of your "logic", and its ridiculous. Go to school and come back after you've learned what evolution really is, and not what some religious propaganda is telling you that is.
