It's got to be the Hornady SST. This came out about 2 yrs ago. There was tons of hype surrounding its release. It clocks in at 2000 fps with the muzzle energy being 2644ft/lbs!!!!!

I assume you are talking about a 12 ga rifled barrel. I tried them in my smoothbore and they keyholed. ( The bullet was moving so fast, it started to tumble end over end, and ripped the target).

These are much more accurate in a RIFLED barrel than anything else. There have been reports of using it out to 200yds!

And they are the coolest looking too. Black and red for the 12 gauge, yellow for the 20 gauge.

Winchester sabot ultra are my favorite to use, but remington also works very well too.

I don't think your shotgun is designed to shoot sabots................. Yours is suppose to shoot rifled slugs>>>> There is a difference .......

lightfield slugs in a real gun, not a piece o' crap mossberg.
