The Lord Jesus spoke about this in the gospels.
He said that people who advertise their good deeds already have their reward, and are often hypocrites.
Thank-you for your question; it is important for all of us to be reminded of Jesus' standard for "acts of charity".

In my life, I have been blessed at times by the kind acts of Good Samaritans who did the right thing and asked for no reward or recognition.

This is a very deep teaching from the Lord.

No, I don't. But I can't say it isn't tempting. Especially when so many people who don't know you and clearly have misconceptions about your faith make insulting and misinformed judgments about you and those who believe as you do.

But in the end, those who are quick to judge don't rely on accurate information and don't want it, so the truth isn't really relevant to them anyway.

I try not to...It feels good when you help someone w/ out them knowing. And remember...God sees everything and will reward you in heaven. That is greater then any earthly gift or praise.

No. The Bible tell you to do it anonymously. Besides, I don't want any attention brought to myself. I hate that.

one should keep that to themselves private, just like when one donates to charity. should be kept so private that the left hand is not sure how much the right hand donated.
