If there is will, there is a way. Anything is possible. Check on the Net for engine swaps. I helped shoehorn Viper V10 engines into street rods and one 1991 Dakota truck. So it can be done. There may be a kit out there to modify your vehicle to accept this engine. Good luck in to searching and possible application. Take plenty of pictures of whatever you do, this is mainly to keep track of the steps that you take to get this done. Because, if you can do it, then someone else might want to attempt the same thing.

Well you can make anything fit into naything. If they can fit an Allison V-12 into an Isetta, you can probably make a 572 fit in yours. And if you need to cut away inner fenders, and put narrower front wheels and modify the cross member and the suspension to make it fit, then so be it. I never said it would be easy, if you have the budget you can certainly make your car into a funny car. It might be easier to start with a tube frame and tilt up fiberglass body though.

dude if you got the tools, torches and a good welder and a few dollars you can put any engine in there you know like a 1.6 liter out of a chevette or a 400 series Detroit diesel, get you some heavy springs to support that 572

yes it fit but you will have to cut fender wells out fire wall and heavy heavy mods to the unibody ,trans, front suspension and so on. your best option is either the 360 or even better 340. those can be built quite well with minimal efforts. you still will need to mod the car to handle the engines but alot easier than the 572.

Since a 360 was an option, I would go with a 360 crate motor.
