I have had braces for a year now and pretty much all of my teeth are straight. The only teeth that need to be fixed are my canine teeth (the vampire teeth). They are just slightly above the rest of my teeth, but not much. How much longer??

My grandson who is 10, had his for about a year and a half. The younger you are the easier it is to move the teeth, the roof of the mouth is soft til you get older & things are eaier to shift when it is done younger, so you probably will be getting yours off soon.

Maybe another 3 months because I experienced that kind of problem and I just waited for it be aligned to my other teeth and just going to my dentist regularly.

two years or more, it depends on your case, you can see your teeth straight but you need radiography to look your evolution.

Ask your orthodontist. He or she is the only one who knows how long they plan on keeping you in braces.
