republicans what to keep the war in iraq !! democratics want them to come over here and kill us !!

It doesn't split that cleanly between the parties. Some prominent members of both parties are pro-Iraq-war and some prominent members of both parties are opposed to continued US occupation in Iraq.

republicans want to "stay the course" in iraq even though it seems to not be working and they dont have a realistic goal.

democrats want to withdraw forces from the iraq civil war, finish destroying al qaeda in afghaistan, and capture or kill bin laden.

some repubs are for the war....most dems are against it.

More are moving to the "let's put a deadline/withdrawal date on the war"

The Bush administration do not want to "flip-flop" on the war and admit it is a disastrous failure, so some die hards 'MUST' follow lead.

It is an unfortunate situation

Republicans want to keep the war on terror over seas and away from our own shores. The democrats want to run away and pretend that terrorism will go away on its own.

No neither group seems to have a plan. McCain has offered a few good ideas.
