yes, rasins are caloric and full of sugar. You can gain weight if you eat too much of anything, including rasins.

YES!! Im a veggie and Im 5'7'' and normally weigh 112. One week(while eating a normal diet) I started to eat raisins. I hadnt really eaten them before, but I would eat them for dessert instead of cookies or candy. That weekend I weighted myself and weighted 116. I dont eat raisins anymore and am now at my normal weight

The problem is not when to eat, is WHAT you eat. When you crave sweets at nights is because you have not eaten enough good carbs during the day. I recommend that you eat at least 4 to 5 times a day in moderate portions; especially a lot of source of fruits and veggies. This will help you with those cravings at night. But if you still have a little bit of the "sweet tooth" syndrome, don't worry; eat some fruits, or a low fat yogurt, or a glass of vanilla or chocolate flavor soy milk (it taste delicious, believe me) to replace the Raisin Bran cereal or any type of cereal. Hope this advice helps you & good luck...

why is everyone here so obssed about gaining...I kinda also am, i mean i want to keep an ideal body image but not to this point. everyone eats cake and cookies at partys and no one eats rasins which are a healthier choice cause they dont want to gain weight. Its crazy junk like candy, ice cream, cookies would get you to gain so much more then healthy dried grapes which are natural. If you eat like 10 lb of rasins then you would gain a bit but no one can eat that much rasins. As long as you dont like eat a room full of them they will never make you gain.

Only raisins? You'd get sick of them pretty quick. And by the way dehydrated fruit is concentrated sugars! Sorry.

Include lots of protein in your diet and make sure to have some protein after a gym session (which should include weights and core work) which restores your torn muscles. Protein shakes are good for this. @ https://tr.im/1WyiQ is really goood and efeective.
