Listen to a lot of death metal and block out all your feelings. Something about death metal makes it really easy not to feel much.

If you shut yourself off from this emotion, you're only going to manage to make yourself feel more miserable than ever. It sounds to me like someone has broken your heart recently. Take some time out for yourself and go do something you love. Love includes yourself and others in that equation, family, pets, etc. Show the love to someone that you're close to, a family member, a friend, an animal, or just flash someone on the street your best smile. Your heart will heal, believe it or not, it's one of the strongest parts of us. It will simply take time.

I suspect the better path is to become wiser about love .
Do not become attached until you have good evidence that you 2 are on the same page.
Successful attachments require common ground .
Common ethics , common standards and similar goals.
Of course some chemistry almost always is a factor but too many people run on chemistry BEFORE they find out if they are otherwise compatible .
Step back, stay aware and choose wisely .
Better to be open to a good love than play the hermit hiding from dysfunctional ones .

.Pick up more classes or find a sport something you like to do. Stay busy. Exercise. Anything to keep your mind on other things.
