Televangelists want money. That's why they are in the racket to begin with. I haven't seen one yet that wasn't purely mercenary. No matter what their message is, at the end of the day, it's 'Give us the cash'.

In all fairness to televangelists, airtime is not cheap and running a religious organization is just like running a business. Some are definitely more successful than others...
However, I also believe there are a ton of money-hungry flakes out there, like Tilton, the one who will send you a 'free' prayer cloth if you send him money. lol Some of these folks concentrate on money and financial greatness, but there are some decent ones out there. The bad ones do an excellent job of giving Christianity a bad name.

Newsflash**********Religion is big business!!!
How else will they build million dollar churches and drive navigators?......good will.
There comes a point in a religious person life where they live the book or not. If they do live the book they will discover that it is all bullspit and then either change their path or start deceiving others for profit. If they never truely live the book then they will be stuck in the stagnation of never progessing and feeling bad for not doing so. Non believers simply learn why they are here or they die and start over. If you believe christ is coming back for you.....you may be waiting a very long time, eternity possibly, if you don't change you mind about the whole thing.

Because they WANT money -- lots of it -- to finance their high-flying lifestyles. The same goes for Benny Hinn, Jan Crouch, Joyce Meyer and all other TV evangelists who preach prosperity. Have you ever noticed their mansions and lavish lifestyles?
If there is such a thing as Judgment Day, I would hate to be in their shoes.

All Televangelists are lying, cheating scum who - if Christianity is true - will burn for ever.
Of course, they're about as atheist as you can get in reality.
