There is a suitable diet plan for all ages. Eat healthy about five or six times a day. Lower your sugar intake and stay active. At the age of 15, you will be just fine.

you don't need some weird unnatural diet plan made up by some bookwriter who is just out for money. eat natural and healthy foods, eats lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains, proteins. just eat in moderation and avoid processed foods and anything at a fast food restaurant.
Any kind of excercise is good for teens. if you're not into organized sports try bike riding, walking or jogging, martial arts, yoga, pilates, hiking canoing, skating. Just do something. Keep moving and find things you love to do.

This is an enormous area of debate. I side on the opinion of don't mess around with body-building substances. There are healthier ways to bulk up through diet and exercise. But look at someone like the Governor of California - The Arnold Terminator Guy - he was looking like a freak of nature when he was using substances (steroids) and he is still alive .... for now.

First of all, plenty of water...u would be amazed on how the proper intake could help. Next, a n effective form of exercise that helps u burn fat naturally for lasting results. Swimming and biking can be beneficial and fun at ur age. Leslie Sansone offers in-home exercise videos that speeds up ur metabolism to burn fat. Eating less portions helps. Crunches or sit-ups w/ no doubt will flatten ur tummy but not as fun. Last, find a routine that works for u and enjoy being young. IT CAN GET WORSE!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

Don't starve yourself. Instead, exercise more & eat a bit fewer calories. (Sorry, don't know anything abt local singaporean dishes).

While stomach exercise will help to tone your abdominal muscles, you really need to burn more calories than you consume. Aerobic (cardio) activity can burn a lot of calories. This includes aerobic classes, running, bicycle riding, jumping rope or vigorous walking. Also, badminton or some other high-intensity sport can burn a lot.

It's also a good idea to do some strength development with light to medium weights. You don't really have to worry about getting bulky muscles. You just want to tone & develop a bit more muscle mass. If you have more muscle then your body will burn more calories even when you are not exercising -- it increases your (resting) metabolism.

Graze rather than gorge -- eat 3-5 small meals instead of 1 or 2 large meals. Try to make your meals balanced -- carbs, fiber, protein, and healthy fats. Drink some good juices (but not too much) and lots of WATER.

Stay away from ultra low-fat diets. You need some good fats in your diet. Just don't overdo it. You can get good fats from nuts (peanuts, almonds, walnuts, etc), seeds, avacados, flax oil, fish oil & fish (salmon & sardines are excellent), canola oil, and olive oil (or other high-oleic oils).

Watch out for foods that are designated as lowfat or non-fat. Quite often, foods that have fat removed (like non-fat yogurt) might have more calories because a lot of sugar might have been added. Just be sure to limit your intake of saturated fats and partially-hydrogenated oils.

I would also steer clear of low-carb diets. They can promote some weight loss but they might not be healthy. It appears that low-carb diets are finally losing favor (tg!). It is a good idea to distinguish between good carbs and bad carbs. The best carbs are those from fruits, vegetabes and whole grains.

Bad carbs include added sugars, corn syrup, & white bread. You will get more than enough sugar from fruit -- you don't need to add any refined sugar to your diet. As I said before, juice can be healthy but don't drink too much -- it's easy to drink a lot of calories w/o realizing it. Better to drink cold water with a just a little bit of juice added for flavoring.

While white bread won't kill you, there are better alternatives. Definitely do not eat white bread by itself -- as a snack. If you must eat white bread, then do so as part of a balanced meal.

flatter tummies come with CARDIO, no matter what people say this is what all of my text books say.

Cardio burns fat, situps etc build the muscle underneath that fat. to appropriately lose that weight, you need both a cardio and weight program.

5-6days a week of cardio (biking, running, swimming etc)
3-4 days a week weight training (body weight circuits, free weights, machines etc.)

consult your doctor on what may be appropriate, but in my experience getting out there and getting active will help the 15 year old lose weight!

go running, every day add more distance untill you can run for about 30 minutes.

drink plenty of water, and eat tons of veggies

if you really want to eat a certain food that you love, take the portion you would usually have and have a third of that

if you like meat only eat a peice the size of a deck of cards or the palm of your hand

hope this helps ouT! lots of luck to you

anyways lol for a 15 year old food alone can not give you flatter tummy but crunches can, do as much as you can and when you feel like your tummy is burning on fire do 10 more. if you dont kno what crunches/ situps are google it. eat small but frequent meals and try not to eat junk food like sweets but once and awhile is okay. if you need anything email or IM me at chillindylan459@pacbell.net

good luck
