Dont look for a quick fix is the MOST important thing... as much as people tell you this Diet and Exercise is really the best way to go and maintain your weight loss, you dont want to lose it all and then gain it all back!

get out there and get active. calories, or basically energy for your body are burned at a higher rate when you are outside playing or biking than inside doing things.

remember if your caloric intake is the same as your caloric out put, or what you eat is burned through exercise and natural calorie burning, you will maintain weight. If you eat properly and exercise and burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight. you should be eating NO LESS than 1,200 calories per day, this is the minimum that your body needs to perform is functions.

dont fall into any of the fad diets, you know what are good foods and what arent, things that are deep fried like chips, french fries, chicken fingers etc are things to stay away from.

look into the food guide, it outlines about what you should be eating in a day from the food groups. modify it to your liking!

Safely you should be losing anywhere between 2-5 pounds per week.

get out there and get active, pick up things like tennis or swimming that you will be able to do your entire life. Also organized sports are a great way to meet new friends and try something new... you never know, you may fall in love with a new sport! Check your local YMCA, or community centre for Youth activities etc! or ask your school im sure they would know of a few great places.

Also, include your family in this, they will be happy to keep you motivated and maybe this could turn into a relationship building experience!!!!

Good Luck!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

At 15 I am no longer certain you will have to weight that so much. What function do you play? However, I don't consider weight reduction tablets are the reply. I might attempt to watch what you consume, consume meals top in fiber, and in addition probably perform a little aerobic. The BMI does no longer distinguish among frame fats and muscle. If you desire to grasp in case your frame fats is to top, then there are specified instruments that learn that. But dont move through the BMI.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

Hi,
my name is natalie and i'm 15 and went through the same thing as you about a year ago. What i did to lose all my weight was to join a local gym. i hired a trainer (about $50 per session) and i met with her once a month and she would tell me all the exercises i need to do. Also to go along with this i worked out at home with those work outs you find in cosmo girl and seventeen. and then to top it all off i did a simple diet. i cut out all sweets except on saturdays and pretty muh lived on slim fast salds and lean meats. i hope this helps you out and good luck your going to do great!

Ask your mom to take you to weight watchers, and then follow thier plan. It only costs $12 a week -- and I'm sure your parents would be happy to pay that to see you happy and healthy again!

Eat well and exercise:

aim for 5-6 small meals per day and exercising for at least 30 minutes 4-5 day per week

You should try to limit your calories to about 1500-1600 calories per day.
