You're right; it makes no sense. God does not help those who condone a belief system that is in total opposite of his. These ones Satan has control over and yet they don't even realize this; that's why it's so easy for Satan to control them.
Ask according to God's will and your prayers shall be answered.
Requesting to win the Nascar race, or a gambling horse race are not things within God's will. These prayers will fall on deaf ears.
Jehovah takes no pleasure in the prayers of the wicked. Yes, “he that is turning his ear away from hearing the law—even his prayer is something detestable.” (Proverbs 28:9) Through the prophet Isaiah, God told His people: “When you spread out your palms, I hide my eyes from you. Even though you make many prayers, I am not listening; with bloodshed your very hands have become filled.” (Isaiah 1:15) Naturally, the prayers of the wicked are not answered even if they are addressed to God through Christ.

So the atheist class, demon class, they want to forget Krishna. So Krishna gives him such intelligence that he can speak of atheism so many volumes. But he is getting that intelligence from Krishna. Krishna gives everyone the chance that "Whatever you want to do, you can do. I will give you intelligence. So if you want to become atheist, then I will give you intelligence how to become first-class atheist, like Hiranyakasipu, Rävana, Kamsa(Great demons from ancient India). And if you want to become devotee, then I will give you intelligence also in that way."

It is all around.All they have to do is look.But to answer your question.If he gave them conclusive proof.That would be force.An forced love is rape.Besides that he wants us to become like him naturally,not supernaturally.
But remember he did prove himself in moses' time in Egypt and in the desert.An they didn't believe.What about Jesus?People saw him.He performed miracles.He rose from the dead.Yet he still didn't believe.

It's quite obvious that God is doing everything possible to convince sane and thoughtful people that he doesn't exist.
It's clearly an intelligence test. If you die an atheist you get to be one of God's chums and have super-powers and stuff.
