Hi,
My trunk would not open even when I used keypad remote or doing it manually. When I pressed the button, it makes the normal sound I hear but the trunk would not open at all. Is there any other way to open my trunk? Please help. Any advice would be greatly appriciated.

remote trunk release is with key or lever only on a 96 sentra it doesn't have an actuator to release trunk

Fold down the back seat and look at where the trunk latches. There is a valet setting in the small opening below the latch lift up on the tab now push the remote or pull the trunk latch on the floor. Or insert the key into the trunk lock and turn it to open.
