I have been, many times. Fireball came out once saying that Christians should do more about environmental issues.

I love it when that happens! Do you have any similar surprises?

Well, some people's real gender came as a bit of a surprise. Talk about slapping your forehead and "Oh, for dumb!"

And someone is always saying something funny or making me laugh, even when I'm having a bad fur day. Those are very pleasant surprises.

I'm not in here enough to know most of the regulars. I'm usually on in here on the weekends, but I'm always being surprised at the thought and care that some people put into their answers rather then just being flip as many (guilty) are want to do at times. There are times I say I'm never coming in here again, and then read something that must puts me in awe. It's great.

Oh yes, yes I have. I was surprised to see that JP is pro-life. I was surprised to see that Sean can effortlessly switch between agnostic, atheist, druid, spiritualist, etc. I was surprised by the tenacity and passion of participants who have been deleted and come back as many times as necessary.

Not so much surprised but still amazed at how close-mined theists can be when it comes to denying proven facts.

Yes, when J.P. sent me an e-mail saying that it'd be an honor to cross swords with me during Ragnarök. (He meant in as a compliment.) That was surprising just because no one had ever said such a thing to me.
