Buddy, I know how you feel !
Six months ago I moved from Chicago to the Czech Republic. Even though I had studied Spanish for ten years, nothing prepared me for how hard Czech would be. It is difficult on every level: hard to pronounce, difficult grammar, and exasperating sentence structure.
Here's why Czech is so crazy: it has seven cases, but to be fair, only five are used in everyday speech. However, that means you still have to keep these five cases in your head. Next, you have to think whether the subject noun is masculine animate, masculine inanimate, feminine, or neuter. This determines the ending the other words will take. Next, you have to decide if the next clause in the sentence is a direct or indirect object (and in Czech it's different than in English !!!), or whether it expresses a location, or a partitive meaning. If you don't get this right, you won't "declinate" the sentence properly.
In English at least, you only have two words: THIS and THAT. In Czech, those words depend on all the previous points I've mentioned, so there are like forty words that would mean "this" or "that". Aren't you happy English isn't so crazy?
If anyone ever makes fun of your English, ask them how many foreign languages THEY know. You'll have a lot of fun at their expense. Most Americans are terrible at foreign languages, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm not one of them. (groan.....)

Judging from what I see here, you speak English better than some of us who were born here in America! LOL
Don't worry about it. At least you made the effort!

Personally, I've always had a lot of respect for people who are learning English as a second language.
The people who are making fun of you probably can't speak more than one language, and if they are only using their language to put you down, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Most English speakers don't speak like Shakespeare... I bet 60% of English speakers couldn't understand a lot of Shaekspeare.

Maybe they didn't know the answer but they wanted points for answering a question. So many people get on here and answer things with the dumbest statements just to get two points. Try to ignore them, though I know it's hard.

They get the gist of it. The spell check monkeys are always on here to debunk whatever anyone says. Ignore them and debate the issues on immigration on why it is wrong for illegals to be here .. or your side.
