I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

More important than worrying about losing a certain amount of weight, should be your desire to get healthier. Weight has less to do with age than it has to do with height and body structure. At your age I wouldn't worry about trying to get to a certain weight-you're young, and have your whole life ahead of you. Why not start adding a workout in every day for an hour or so. Go outside, take a walk, ride your bike, go swimming. All the while, look at your diet and see what can be changed. Are you eating out a lot? Do you eat too much junk food? If you examine your lifestyle and see the need for change, start doing just that. Change your diet and exercise patterns. And sit down with your parents and ask them to help in terms of grocery shopping, cooking, etc.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

Depends on what you think really. Jack Black doesn't lose weight cause he likes to eat. But if you feel like you should, go ahead. But remember to think about how you'd feel afterwards. Proud? I weighed 115 when I was in 8th...
Good Luck!

You need to exercise (walk, walk, walk), change your eating habits to healthy foods only. NO refined flour (white) or sugar. Eat lots of fresh fruits (will help curb your cravings for sweets) and vegetables, carbs should be whole-grain, lean meats...not fried foods. And stay away from sugar drinks like sodas, lemonaid, etc. Green tea helps boost your metabolism....and drink lots of water!!!!!!!!

You could lose a little weight, but I don't get extremely obsessed over it. Exercise three-four times a week, eat lots of fruits and veggies, and try not to eat desserts.
Oh, and drink lots of water!
Hope that helps, beautiful... :)
