A group of Nun's acting as VOTING shareholders in Lockhead Martin (Ticker LMT) are bringing this issue before the Board of Directors Annual Meeting:

Should Lockheed Martin provide a report on depleted uranium and other nuclear weapons to shareholders?
Request to Board of Directors to make available to all shareholders within six months of the annual meeting, a written report on Lockheed Martin's depleted uranium and other nuclear weapons related involvement, excluding confidential and proprietary information.

So, what would Nun's be doing with this information anyway's??? What do you think?

Did it say anywhere that they were actually Catholic Nuns? Because in Colorado there is a group that call themselves nuns that set off alarms at ICBM launch facilities in protest of nuclear weapons, but they are most definately not catholic. They may be part of that group.

It's probably an ill-advised bid for peace. I don't think it would be allowed to happedn because it is so clearly a threat to national security (the real kind - not like wearing a "Bush is a terrorist" t-shirt or reading al jazeera).

Doesn't really matter. Unless they can obtain the required security clearance for that information they won't get it. Doesn't matter what the board votes on.

What's the big secret anyway? You trust greedy corporate execs to have that info but not nuns?

we all know the Vatican is preparing to launch a huge nuclear war, and well they need uranium..................... or maybe they are concerned about the public's health, I mean it is possible that uranium can be a harm to the public
