We both are teachers and last summer he worked summer school. Five days after school was over our daughter was born. It was really hard since we do not have family or close friends in our city to help us. So he basically has not had real vacations. Does he need to rest or he is maybe sick

It depends on how old he is. If he's in his 30's, get his hormone levels and iron level checked. Or he could possibly be depressed.

My answer to this question will be for him to sit back and take a vacation. You need time to relax and get away from the everyday pressures of life. Myself i work two jobs sometimes 16 hours a day, i am starting to get burned out also. So it's time for me to take a vacation.

We have kids too and I'm guessing that, like you, your husband isn't getting enough sleep because he sometimes has to get up in the middle of the night to check on your child. I suggest that the two of you agree on a schedule wherein one has to get up to check on the child while the other can get a full night's sleep. Alternate on this. That way both of you get a full night's rest 3-4 times a week. Check on each other's eating habits too, get enough vitamins and proper nutrition.
