Actually, it is the integrity and righteousness of God which has gained immortality for Man. It is a man's privilege to trust in the righteousness of God.

Teach me your way, O LORD,
and I will walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name.
Psalm 86:11

Yes, integrity implies a quality of completeness,
as in; integrated whole. If you try to remove an important part of our 'structure'
as a being, say, spirit or soul, you compromise the integrity of that structure.
If one becomes aware of their own true completeness/integrity, they literally open their minds to the knowledge and experience of their own immortality and intimate connection to the All.
